Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Fetch & Fable (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using fetchandfable.co or placing an order, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to use the service or place an order.
Your custom book
Every book is a custom creation made just for you. We use artificial intelligence (AI) to write your book's story and generate its illustrations from the photos and details you provide. Because each one is uniquely made, the illustrations are creative interpretations, not exact reproductions of your photos — styles and details will vary, and AI-generated content can occasionally include imperfections. Your finished book is yours to enjoy for personal use.
Orders and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout, where payment is handled by our payment processor. You authorize the charge for the total shown, including any taxes and shipping. We may correct pricing or product errors and may decline or cancel an order; if we cancel one you've already paid for, we'll refund it. If you create an account, keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity under it.
Refunds
Because each book is made to order, all sales are final. But if your book arrives significantly damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, email hello@fetchandfable.co within 30 days with photos and we'll reprint or replace it at no cost. Minor cosmetic variation that comes with custom printing doesn't qualify.
Your photos and content
The photos and details you upload stay yours. You give us permission to use them to create, print, and fulfill your order and to support you. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload and the consent of anyone who appears in it, and that it isn't unlawful, infringing, or offensive.
Using the site
You agree to use the site lawfully, and not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the site or its security.
- Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse our content without permission.
The Fetch & Fable name, logo, site, and sample artwork are ours and protected by intellectual property laws; please don't use them without our written permission.
Disclaimer and liability
The site and our products are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We won't be liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the greater of what you paid for that order or US$100. You agree to cover claims that arise from your content or your misuse of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in the State of New York. Before filing anything, let's try to sort it out. Just email hello@fetchandfable.co.
Subscriptions
Book Club subscriptions aren't offered yet. If we add them, they'll renew automatically at the price and interval shown when you sign up, until you cancel, and you'll be able to cancel anytime before the next renewal.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms as the product evolves, and we'll update the date at the top when we make meaningful changes. We may suspend access for anyone who misuses the service. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
